Chattanooga, TN — 11/10/22 — Carpetland USA recently held their annual Buying Committee meeting at The Chattanoogan Hotel, November 7-10, 2022, to review new products, negotiate special buys, as well as discuss and plan merchandising and other programs for 2023. The meeting also included a few mill visits.
Members were able to listen to a few key suppliers as they presented new products and revealed important future plans. Each supplier shared their economic outlook for next year and beyond.
Kevin Logue, Alliance Flooring’s co-president and CEO, said the Carpetland Buying Committee meetings provide an opportunity to dialog and solve problems. “These meetings allow for valuable time with top mill executives to discuss economic outlooks, special group buys as well as make merchandising decisions. Being part of our group allows members to get industry information to help them grow their business and plan for the future,” Logue added.
This Buying Committee was comprised of 10 Carpetland USA members.
